karagiozis exposedA shadow puppet's revolution into a new dimension. Through a mistake of his puppeteer, Karagiozis momentarily tastes the three dimensional world! Trapped again behind his screen, he revolts to return to this newly found world. Directed by Athina Kasiou and Euripides Dikaios with Antonis Tsiotsiopoulos and Barthelemy Meridjen, Karagiozes Exposed, through physical theatre, experimental architecture, live original music and using Shadow Puppet theatre as the core of the show, explores the crossing of boundaries and coming to terms with a new dimension. Last time I saw a Karagiozis

Last time I saw a Karagiozis at a theatre was in 1999 at Theatro Technis. Viewing that play inspired me to start Apokrisi.net and to promote Greek culture in Britain as much as possible!! I'm looking forward to wathcing this new take on the Karagiozis theme :-)
