About Apokrisi
Apokrisi is an independent and informative network aiming to publicise and promote all Greek related events and venues that exist across Britain.

Why and When?

It all started back in November 1999 after watching a very enjoyable performance of Karagiozis at Theatro Technis. The performance was very good with the only disappointing point being that the attendance at that performance was rather low. Hence, after attending that very enjoyable performance the idea arose to create a network that would fully publicise all Greek related events taking place in Britain, and, the Apokrisi calendar was born!

Now in its ninth year it continues to consistently inform and help promote all Greek events and venues in Britain. Being a purely on-line based operation it acts on two levels, the first level, includes the collection and listing of all Greek related events and venues, the numerous concerts, film screenings, festivals, theatrical plays, exhibitions, talks and seminars that take place regularly across Britain. On a second level, which is also the real strength behind this effort, lies the large (over 3370 and rising) base of subscribers receiving the regular and informative newsletters that we prepare. This service has proved very popular with the organisers of the various events and their audience as it acts as a focal point for both. We also manage to organise many lucky draws with hundreds of lucky winners having won tickets for numerous events or other offers up till now.

We hope you will find the Apokrisi service useful
